How to Look Up a Sku

How to view which vendor the item comes from

1. Click on Sales -> Items 

2. Use the Search function to type in your sku.  

Click on the Vendor No. on the right hand side: 

GHOST CODES - How to find the Vendor Code

Some skus are set up as "ghost codes" in the system, which means it is a different sku name from what the vendor has in their system.  To view the vendor's version of a sku follow these steps:

1. Click on Sales -> Items in Business Central

2. Use the Search function to type in your sku. Click on the item to open up the Item Card:

   

3. Once the Item Card is open, scroll down to the Replenishment section
4. The vendor's version of the sku will be under the Vendor Item No. field.  In this example, the code EM2XSG in our system is GSX-2 in the vendor's system:
