How to request a proof revision

IF THE CONVERSATION IS ASSIGNED TO E-GRAPHICS

Step 1:  Open the order up in the Proofing Studio and ensure that the conversation is assigned to E-Graphics:

Step 2: In the chat box, 

  • Make sure you are typing in the Notes section.  (If you type in the "Chat" section, then your message will be sent to the customer, not the proofing team)
  • Tag the proofing team into your request with the tag @proofingteam
  • Clearly and concisely explain the revision needed to the proof in the chat box.  
  • Click on the Revision Request button. 
  • Click Send

The order status should then automatically change to In Progress(RevisionRequest), and within 3 business hours, E-Graphics will upload the revised proof for the client to review. 


IF THE CONVERSATION IS ASSIGNED TO ENTRIPY

Step 1:  Open the order up in the Proofing Studio and ensure that the conversation is assigned to Entripy:

Step 2: Search for the WEB# in HelpScout and find the original email that we sent to V-Lead or Addnectar to have the proof created. (The body of these emails should look like the following:)

Step 3:  Respond to the email. Type REVISION and clearly and concisely explain the revision needed to the proof. E.g.:

Step 4: After requesting the revision, go into the proofing studio and change the order status to In Progress by clicking on the blue "Change" button beside the "Proof Status Type" and then selecting In Progress:

Addnectar or V-Lead will then email back the revised proof for the proofing team to upload for the customer.
