Resolutions: Missing Print

1. Ask for a picture of the defected garments.  We will only offer compensation for the items that we receive stock or pictures back for

2.Review pictures / stock received back to determine if the print is incorrect / item is defected

3.If the item is indeed defected, offer the client ONE OF the following options:

IF THE CLIENT KEEPS THE DEFECTED STOCK

  • Cash Credits or Refund in the amount of missed decoration (e.g. if we missed 7 personalized names, we would refund back the 7 pieces x $6.95 per name = $48.65 refund)
    • Need pictures for each defect
    • Credit amount is based on the net of tax.

See our return policy here: https://www.entripy.com/support/faq/cancel-or-return-order

IF THE CLIENT RETURNS THE DEFECTED STOCK

  • Add missing print to the items

Step 1:  Open the original sales order (WO) in Business Central

Step 2: Actions -> Functions -> Other -> Create Defect Document

Step 3: A new order will open. This is your Defect Replacement (DR). Edit the following fields:

  • Promised Delivery Date -> This is the date that we will tell the client the order is scheduled for. NOTE this date depends on when we receive the stock back from the customer. Enter a date 2 business days from when stock is expected to be received. This should be updated accordingly when stock arrives.
  • Production Date -> This is the date that will appear on the production board. It should be 1 business day before the promise date

Step 4: Remove all the items

Step 5: Add the item CUSTINV

  • Edit the item description to include the item type and sizes
  • Enter the correct quantity

The result should look similar to the example below. (Note that in this example, the WO is still split up by Proof ID, but all of the sizes per Proof ID are entered into 1 single line.)

Step 6: Enter production notes (in 2 sections)

  • Enter a Comment Line item
    • Under Description, enter your note.  The comment added here will appear for Production to see on their Veris display.

  • Enter the same note into the Notes section for other Business Central users to easily view

Step 7: Make sure the the order total is $0

Under Invoice Discount %, change the 0 to 100

Step 8: Review & Approve the order

  • Click on Release
  • Click on Release again

Step 9: Make sure the PO total is $0

Releasing the order will generate a PO number under the Lines section under Special Order Purchase No.

  • Copy the PO Number
  • Open the PO (from the home page, click on Purchasing -> Purchase Orders -> Search)
  • Re-open the PO (Release > Reopen)
  • Remove the Direct Unit Cost from each line

  • Release the PO (Release > Release)
