If a Creator is viewing pricing in USD, an alert is generated to share that the USD price is display only and Slaite charges in CAD
If a Creator is in the US, they will be charged in CAD and the actual cost will be determined by the conversion rate and foreign transaction fees by their banking institution
Shipping prices are: CAD$6.24 and USD$4.99 for North American shipping
The tax rate is determined by the destination of the product, not the Creator’s location (i.e. if a US Creator has a customer in Ontario, they will be subject to a 13% tax rate to the entire order)
A Creator’s customer will not see Slaite on their invoice
Slaite ships to North America and the US
Slaite does not ship internationally
Slaite will use Canada Post for orders going to PO Boxes
Shipping cost is CAD$6.24/USD$4.99 across North America (both CAN and USA orders)
Slaite offers standard shipping [internal only: UPS is the primary but Canada Post sometimes ships for Slaite orders]
There are default emails in each Creator’s Shopify account that push tracking information to their customers
If a Creator has two print-on-demand drop-shipping vendors (i.e.Printful for mugs), their customers can purchase the two products simultaneously but the shipping for both vendors will be combined
A Creator’s customer will never know Slaite shipped on their behalf (unless they disclose that information)
If an order is under USD$800, orders entering the US do not incur customs
A Creator cannot fully connect to Slaite without billing information input into their Slaite account.
The only accepted payment is credit cards and Debit Visa/Mastercard
A Creator is charged immediately when an order is placed.
Shopify pays Creators after approximately 4-5 days of the order processing.
A Creator’s customer will never see Slaite on their billing.
Slaite charges taxes based on the order destination.
There are no taxes applied to US orders

If the Creator chooses to set “free shipping” or any amount of shipping cost on Shopify, the Creators would still be charged the shipping by Slaite (CAD$6.24/USD$4.99)
