When to Offer Special Pricing

First overview the order:

  • Does it sound like the client is hesitant to proceed with the order because of the price? Submit a price request through the Price App.
  • Did the client mention they have a budget? (Example: School ordering 100 x hoodies for graduating class/ all same design)  submit a price request through the Price App.
  • Sometimes clients might ask if we can match a price with another order from Entripy, this we can submit a price request through the Price App.
  • Check to see if the client is an existing client, how much do they typically spend with us and how often? Do we want to keep them happy?  Would a simple request to better there price firm our relationship with them?
  • Look at the quantities - If the client has requested a large qty - (Example: 200+ T-Shirts/ all same 1 colour print/ FF - then you would request special pricing).  Submit a price request through the Price App.
  • Look at all products - in the order/ and review the order total. ( Example: order total comes to  7k or over, do overview of the order - chances are we can help with pricing/ or offer a discount to the order).
  • Look at the decoration in the order - Is it possible for "like" decorated items to be grouped together to volume price the total?
  • Is it a clearance item? - If so most likely that is the lowest we can go.

Threshold for requesting Special Pricing right away: See below.

  • T-shirts 200 pieces
  • Jackets 50 pieces 
  • Polos 100 pieces

Beginning - Client calls in and is unaware they can save with their order, and is quoted verbally what the website cost is currently.  

Middle - The point at which the client is then advised that we will request special pricing for them, and the client is then quoted the better price.

End-  The CSR sends the client the new locked in special pricing.  The client can then do an overview of the savings and place the order. (with or without the help of the CSR).

Let the client know either on the phone/ or by chat or email that you will look into special pricing for them (sometimes you can get the price back very quickly).  Call the client back if needed to give the special price. 

Include this message though whenever you give out special pricing within each QUOTE: See below.

Please Note: Special Pricing cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts (if any discounts are added they will be removed). This pricing is good for [Date: Try to keep the days smaller/ 4-7 days] from todays date expiring on, [Date].
