How to Submit a Proof Request

Step 1:  Open the order up in the Proofing Studio and ensure that the conversation is assigned to Entripy:

Step 2: Copy the proof information and download the artwork.

  • TIP - Look at the "proofs selected" on the right-hand side to see how many proofs need to be requested. 

Step 3: In HelpScout, create a new email to V-Lead (vleadmanualproofing@entripy.com) or Addnectar (addnectarmanualproofing@entripy.com). 

  • The subject line needs to include the order ID and the customer name. Both can be copied from the proofing studio here:The subject line will look like this:
  • In the body of the email, specify the proof name (eg. Proof A: New) and paste the information you copied in the previous step. It should look like the image below.
  • If the customer added any special notes, be sure to add those in as shown below. These notes can be found in the chat box here:
    • Don't just copy and paste. Check to see if the message needs to be reworded so that Addnectar or V-Lead can better understand the instructions. 
    • Make sure the customer's request can be done. If it's not doable, you will need to send a message to the customer (Instructions here).
  • Attach the zip folder you downloaded

Step 3B: Sending a message to the customer.

Step 4: After sending the email, go into the proofing studio and change the order status to In Progress by clicking on the blue "Change" button beside the "Proof Status Type" and then selecting In Progress:

Addnectar or V-Lead will then email back the proof for the proofing team to upload for the customer.
